Digital Diplomacy and COVID-19: An Exploratory Approximation towards Interaction and Consular Assistance on Twitter

This study seeks to gauge the level of engagement and interaction seven Ministries Foreign Affairs from Americas with citizens who requested assistance through Twitter during first months covid-19 pandemic. Among results obtained significant differences are identified, notably an increase in dialogic communication respect previous studies, explained by state emergency. In addition, countries that achieved high levels those focused their towards user. Thus, different approaches digital diplomacy detected its consular activities.
